Welcome to Villa Wine! The country house is situated on the shore of a clear Lake Viinijärvi in Eastern Finland and it is good for recreational holidays. Villa Wine accommodates up to 14 people and even more.
Customers can have a relaxing holiday (even two families can be accommodated in the villa). Customers can enjoy the traditional Karelian delicacies or have the smoke sauna even with a big group of people. Total privacy and magnificent lake views will make your rest unforgettable!
The country house is well equipped. There is a fast fibber-optic internet connection that guarantees good and fast connection with the outside world. The comfortable rooms, a smoke sauna, upstairs sleeping places up to 14 guests in the 3 -4 bedrooms and beautiful nature will make your rest relaxing. There is 1 bedroom for 2 people, 1 bedroom for 3 people and 1 bedroom for 5 people that can be divided into two separate rooms with a slide door. In addition there are 2 convertible sofas upstairs for 2 people each. It’s possible to have extra beds downstairs for an extra cost.
The Villa Wine is equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave oven, an electric stove, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a washing machine, a drying closet for wet clothes, a charcoal grill, a hairdryer, an iron for ironing, a CD/a radio, a TV, an Internet connection (WLAN) and air-conditioning. It’s possible to arrange more sleeping places in a hut which is only couple hundred meters walk away (for an extra cost). Up to 40 -50 people can be accommodated in this villa!
The country house has a colourful past. The main house (300m2) is an old courthouse (from the 1800’s) and it was transferred to the place where it is now. The smoke sauna was built of the 100 years old logs. The country house main steps are old handmade Church steps that used to serve people when they were going to weddings and funerals. Also the smoke sauna was a sacred place where the women gave birth and old people died and went to heaven. In the main house court hall they convicted criminals to survive in the harsh conditions of Siberia and never come back.
The villa is situated on a peninsula on its own privacy and the closest neighbour cottage is located about 300 meters away. The Koli National Park is about 58 km away and the ski slopes of Maarianvaara are about 30 km away. The monasteries of Valamo and Lintula are 60 km drive away and Outokumpu Golf is about 13 km away. It is possible to organize fishing trips, snowmobile safaris and a floating bar, where you’ll find seating places for 6 people with own holders for drinks. In summertime it’s possible to take part in pike perch fishing and in wintertime it’s possible to go ice fishing. Customers can go fishing to the lake and catch a pike, a pike perch, a perch and even a salmon. Customers can have a lot of activities (a rowing boat, fishing equipment, ATV and snowmobile safaris, a smoke sauna, beauty treatments, a massage, catering –services etc.) for an extra cost. Changing day is negotiable. Arrival – 16.00, departure – before 11.00. The weekly rent excludes bed linen for 10 – 16 people and final cleaning. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited. During season C and D the villa can be rented out for shorter period.
